EUROVISION 2023 | REMO FORRER – SWITZERLAND – VOICE INTERVIEW

Remo Forrer tells a strong story with „Watergun“. And his voice is impressive and inspiring at the same time. The 21-year-old singer‘s own musical story could not be more Swiss and started with traditional folk music in the small village of Hemberg in eastern Switzerland, where he comes from. With father and brother both playing several traditional instruments, music was omnipresent in the family home. Surrounded by the sounds of his upbringing, young Remo soon took a broader interest in pop music. He started playing the piano at the age of ten, which finally led him to discover his own voice and his biggest passion: singing.

In 2020, he gained national recognition when he won season 3 of the singing competition „The Voice Of Switzerland“. He became a crowd’s favorite by taking the pole position in the German version of „I Can See Your Voice“ only two years later.  Remo Forrer has also built up a loyal fan base on TikTok and Instagram, where he impresses with his humor, charm and captivating singing.

Representing Switzerland at the world‘s biggest song contest, Eurovision, is a long-held dream come true for Remo Forrer. „Watergun“ is the song that Remo Forrer will be performing at the ESC.
