International superstars Wiz Khalifa and Lil Nas X, for the first time in Romania, at SAGA Festival

SAGA Festival is getting ready for its third edition, which will take place on 23-25 June at Romaero Băneasa. It will be an event with over 100 artists, impressive production and immersive experiences over three days of memorable performances for the 150,000 festival-goers expected in Bucharest.
Wiz Khalifa, one of the world's most acclaimed artists, Lil Nas X, a real phenomenon in music at international level, Skrillex, Grammy award-winning DJ and producer, Tale of Us, tech house duo, well-known DJ Alan Walker and IANone of the most relevant trap artists in the Romanian urban scene, are the first artists announced for an unforgettable SAGA edition.
Grammy and Golden Globes nominee, with platinum records for record sales of his albums and singles, Wiz Khalifa is an American rapper, artist, songwriter and actor who became known to the public with the release of his debut album "ROLLING PAPERS" in 2011. Wiz Khalifa's major hits "Black & Yellow", "See You Again", "We Dem Boyz", "Work Hard, Play Hard" and many more, collaborations with The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Tyga have made him one of the most successful artists in the world. In June, you can see him live for the first time in Romania, at SAGA Festival, on the Source stage (Mainstage).
Lil Nas X, "an internationally recognized phenomenon," made a splash on the music scene in 2019 when he released "Old Town Road" and simultaneously changed the music industry, shattered genre norms, conquered the charts and went viral around the world. The song's remix with Billy Ray Cyrus is the #1 single in Billboard Hot 100 history for 19 weeks. The track has gone platinum 16 times and received international recognition through numerous other awards, including two Grammys. After releasing the "7" EP in June 2019, which includes the singles "Panini" and "Rodeo," Lil Nas X followed up with "MONTERO"
("Call Me Be Your Name")," a queer anthem that sparked much-needed dialogue across the globe. With a clearly established position as a fashion icon thanks to his incredible looks, eclectic artist Lil Nas X released his critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated debut album "Montero".
For the first time in Bucharest, Skrillex comes to electrify the atmosphere with his unmistakable beats and a memorable show. Winner of eight Grammy Awards, more than any other electronic dance music artist, the DJ has collaborated with Diplo and Boys Noize to form the groups Jack Ü and Dog Blood respectively. In 2017, Skrillex produced and mixed 8, the eighth studio album by rock band Incubus.
A unique, special production, the duo's music Tale Of Us will take Romaero fans to an unknown destination, full of mystery and surprises, an experience that will transcend poetic and emotional boundaries.
Alan Walker will be back on stage at SAGA Festival thanks to the fans who wanted to see him again in Bucharest.
The DJ debuted on the music scene in late 2015 with the hit single "Faded", which has amassed over 1.4 billion Spotify streams and 3.1 billion views on YouTube. After hit singles such as "Alone" and "Darkside," collaborations with artists such as Ava Max, Hans Zimmer, Noah Cyrus, Sia, Bruno Mars and Coldplay, the album
"Different World" propelled it to the charts, surpassing 4 billion streams on Spotify.
IAN is one of the most powerful and influential names in the Romanian urban scene, an artist who leads the Spotify charts with numerous hits that have made him one of the relevant superstars of his generation in the trap era. Get ready to meet IAN at the Drift stage at Romaero Băneasa, during SAGA Festival.
In the coming days, SAGA will announce more artists to complete the festival line-up.

Tickets are available on sagafestival.com and can be bought at special prices: 3 day General Access ticket: 375 RON + tax, 3 day regular GA ticket plus: 550 RON + tax, 3 day VIP pass 750 RON + tax, 1 day GA ticket 200 RON + tax, 1 day GA plus ticket 275 RON + tax, 1 day VIP ticket 300 RON + tax.
In addition, SAGA has reintroduced this year the Payment Plan, a product whereby the 3-day pass for the 3 days of fun can be purchased at a special price, with only 5 euro deposit and 4 equal instalments. The final price of the ticket is thus 80 euros, the most advantageous offer of a festival that has already been accessed by around 4000 festival-goers.
The first edition of the SAGA Festival took place at Romaero, with over 135,000 people attending the event, and the second edition, at the National Arena, was attended by over 150,000 people in the Romanian capital.
