Rihanna to perform live at the 2023 Academy Awards

Rihanna is moving from Super Bowl halftime show to the super-elitist Hollywood stage as she's set to perform at the upcoming Oscars on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The pop superstar is set to sing the Oscar-nominated hit "Lift Me Up", included on the soundtrack of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Pe lângă faptul că a ajuns pe locul 2 în Billboard Hot 100 la data lansării sale din luna octombrie, piesa nominalizată  la secțiunea Cel mai bun cântec original – realizat în colaborare cu regizorul Ryan Coogler, rapperul Tems și producătorul Ludwig Göransson – a marcat și mult așteptata revenire a Rihannei la  muzica pop, fiind primul ei single solo din ultimii șase ani.

Rihanna's live moment comes exactly one month after her Super Bowl halftime show on February 12, which drew 118.7 million viewers, garnered positive reviews from fans and critics, and was also the artist's surprise moment announcing her second pregnancy.
